This young man disliked the 'weak' appearance of his profile. He was treated with a smooth silicone Sientra chin implant placed using an incision just beneath his chin area. This surgical scar is well concealed and cannot be seen from the front or sides of the face. Chin implants can substantially improve the balance of facial features for patients and are often combined with rhinoplasty surgery. Chin implant surgery can be done under local anesthesia, or while patients are asleep in the operating room.
