Breast Reduction #19
This 22 year old female underwent a breast reduction at Sound Plastic Surgery. She is ecstatic with her aesthetic and functional improvement. A breast lift is included with a breast reduction, and this case illustrates that point very nicely. In the before photos her nipples are low on the breasts and are closer to her navel. Over 1.5 lbs of breast tissue were removed and this resolved her neck, shoulder, and upper back pain!
As with all of their breast reductions, Dr. Sattler and Dr. Cooper use a superio-medial pedicle to provide a nicely shaped breast. This technique allows removal of all of the heavy breast tissue located in the lower portion of the breast. These photos were taken four months after her operation. Her scar coloration will begin to match the surrounding skin in a few months.
