Brazilian Butt Lift

Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) Surgeon in Seattle, WA

Enhancement of the buttocks is possible with the Brazilian Butt Lift performed by Dr. Cooper and Dr. Sattler at Sound Plastic Surgery in Seattle. Some women dislike the small or flat appearance of their buttocks. This procedure can rejuvenate the appearance of the buttocks providing more volume to the regions of the buttocks where it looks best. At the same time, the waist, lower back, hips, and thighs are contoured to help enhance the appearance of the buttocks. The liposuction along with transfer of this harvested fat to the buttocks can improve the curviness and sexiness of the female body.

How is a Brazilian Buttock Lift surgery performed?

When planning a buttock augmentation procedure for a patient, the patient is photographed and buttock shape is analyzed. Regions of liposuction and fat augmentation are planned to enhance the patients buttock shape.

During the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure, tumescent liposuction of the abdomen, waist, sacral area, back, or thighs is performed. When a sufficient amount of fat is collected, this fat is then processed in a sterile environment and transfered to the areas of the buttocks that will help improve roundness, shape, and projection. Very small incisions are made for the liposuction and for the placement of fat. This procedure is performed as an outpatient under general anesthesia, and takes approximately 3 hours.

Recovery after Brazilian Buttock Lift surgery

Patients wear a specialized compressive garment that supports the liposuctioned regions but does not apply excessive pressure to the fat grafting zones of the buttock. We do ask our patients to modify the way they sit for a week in order to avoid disturbing the transplanted fat. Individual results will vary, however most patients will return to work comfortably within seven days after their operation.

Possible Complications after Brazilian Buttock Lift surgery

Although uncommon, infection, bleeding, asymmetry, and under-correction (absorption of too much fat) are possible.
